Ali began her grooming career in New York City, training at The American Academy of Pet Grooming. She found she had a great talent for styling the furry children of Manhattanites. What began as a part-time job to support her acting career became a full-time passion and obsession. As a groomer, Ali enjoys working at two doggie spas in Manhattan: The Running Paws Athletic Club, catering to NYC's sporty canines,and D is for Doggy, which offers specialized care for the pampered pooch.

As an actor, Ali has performed on Broadway, national tours, off-Broadway and in regional theaters. She still auditions, but she admits that she's found a really good day job! Ali lives near Central Park with her Italian greyhound, Gracie.
