Basic Chocolate Fondue

8 oz. good-quality milk chocolate
4 oz. dark chocolate
1 cup cream

Melt ingredients in a double boiler. Carefully pour the sauce into a fondue pot. Keep on a low heat.

Sweet additions to the sauce:

Add 2 tablespoons peanut butter

Add 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Add 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Add 1/3 cup coffee liquor

Add 1/3 cup brandy

To dip:

Strawberries

Cherries

Marzipan balls

Pineapple

Pears cubes
