Lucas Hoge, Assistant at P.E.T.S LLC![]() There are less than 50 people in the farming town of Hubbell, Nebraska, where country music singer and dog lover Lucas Hoge was raised. In 2001, Lucas left his small town for Nashville, TN to focus on his singing career. His singing career has kept him busy: recording, writing, and touring including performing for our troops both overseas and at home. Lucas has recorded two acclaimed country CDs, had an original song featured on the WB's Superman show "Smallville" and his single "If Only I Could", "Dirt" and "Get the Door" have won multiple music awards. Given his small town roots, Lucas has an unparalleled understanding of community; and what a community united can accomplish. He has devoted considerable time to being a life-long volunteer with various rescue groups, giving animals a new lease on life. He himself is the proud owner of four dogs and two cats, all of which he has rescued. Lucas joined Kyle Peterson's pet transport company, P.E.T.S. LLC, in December 2009. He helps Kyle transport rescued dogs from Tennessee, and the surrounding areas, to adoptive homes in the Northeast. These long drives around the country are not a problem for Lucas whose favorite place to write is when he's on the road. His partnership with Kyle has led to the successful placement of dogs into loving homes. When he's not saving dogs, Lucas is touring the major motorcycle rallies across the U.S. MORE ABOUT LUCAS |
