10. CHAMELEON

All about appearances, the chameleon can change its own within just 20 seconds by expanding and contracting layers of pigment cells on its skin. So, how would one know it's time to steer clear of this creature? If you're seeing red, run for the hills — a crimson color usually appears when the chameleon wants to show anger, particularly to a rival male. Fortunately, he doesn't often have to really put up his dukes, as colorful displays combined with posturing usually do the trick.
