Jamie Andrews and Jamie Fisher have been best friends and climbing partners for ten years. They are on the vacation of a lifetime in the French Alps with a group of their closest friends, but they can't resist the opportunity to leave them for a couple of days to climb the majestic Les Droites, a peak that towers 4,000 meters above the skyline. Disaster strikes when a vicious storm sets in and they find themselves trapped on an icy ledge at the summit of the mountain 13,000 feet up. Winds rage to 130 km per hour, and temperatures plummet to minus 30 degrees, minus 60 with wind chill. These are conditions that the human body cannot survive for long, but they are stuck until the storm subsides, as rescue is not possible. Their food and water are long gone and both men are suffering from severe frostbite and hypothermia. All they can do is wait for rescue, but will it come too late?
