Brad Pitt takes viewers on a journey to the foot of the Rocky Mountains in northern Utah, where the Seus family celebrates the first birthday of their twins — their adopted grizzly bear cubs.

Growing Up Grizzly features a year in the life of Honey-Bump and Little Bart, orphaned Alaskan grizzlies whose mother was killed by a hunter. Rescued by a state trooper, the little sister and brother were just newborn cubs and near starvation.

Now they're healthy and living a very unique life at the Seuses'.

Brad Pitt, who met Doug Seus during filming for Legends of the Fall, introduces viewers to Doug and Lynne Seus, who have been raising grizzlies for nearly 30 years, including the big screen's most famous bear, Bart. In 1991, they established Vital Ground, a foundation that acquires private lands and returns them to the wilderness, protecting nature and America's wild heritage.

Growing Up Grizzly follows Honey-Bump and Little Bart through the first year of their life, as they grow and discover the wonders of the world around them — their first swim in the river, their first drive into town for ice cream, and their first time on a movie set. Growing Up Grizzly is the story of a unique family comprised of humans and bears, learning to live together based on mutual love and respect.
