Animal Precinct follows the law enforcment officers of the NYC chapter of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (A.S.P.C.A). From their precinct headquarters, the agents of the ASPCA answer the call to protect the welfare of the over five million pets living in New York City. While some pet owners are issued citations in order to enforce better care of their animals, others may have their pets confiscated and taken to ASPCA headquarters, where they can be given hope for a better life. These animals, thought to be in danger in the hands of their owners, are examined by vets, groomed, and put up for adoption to new, caring families. In such cases, suspects can be charged with abuse made to face the judge. It's a tough job, but these officers take a stand for the helpless creatures of New York City, here in the Animal Precinct.
