Top Treat for May 2009 As a follow up to yesterday's post regarding the challenges of trimming your pets nails, I couldn’t help but chuckle to myself when I spotted these Color Paw Dog Nail Applique Stickers recently. SRSLY? Speaking as a sometime purveyor of terrier tutus and tiaras, I must admit that this is one line extension I didn't see coming. Given the squirrelly and intolerant nature of most dogs, not to mention that many of us like to project some semblance of actually having a life, I would likely prefer a swift kick to the head than to attempt to apply teeny tiny floral stickers to my dogs nails. Perhaps I’m way off here, but I am imagining that most of the dainty floral appliques would certainly end up stuck in my dogs teeth or gums, on my clothing and on the couch. Cute as these non-toxic, peel-and-stick appliqués are, I am quite curious just who on god’s green earth has the patience and wherewithal to apply floral appliqués to all 16 of their pets nails? If you are indeed one of these enduring and determined souls, please let me know, as I’d love to know how you managed to pull off this feat!
