Below are answers to frequently asked questions about the Animal Planet "Mr. Popper's Penguins" Sweepstakes. We suggest you print this page for future reference.

When is the Sweepstakes?
The sweepstakes begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on May 20, 2011 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on June 17, 2011.

Who can enter?
Legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry.

How do I enter?
Visit and access the Sweepstakes entry page at this web address: http://animal.discovery.com/sweepstakes/popperspenguins Complete the online entry form and submit so that it is received by the Sponsor's server by 11:59 PM ET on June 17, 2011.

How often may I enter?
There is a limit of one entry per person per day.

What are the prizes?
One Grand Prize will be awarded consisting of a trip for four to the New England Aquarium in Boston, MA. This prize is valued at approximately $6,000.

One Second Prize will be awarded consisting of a 2011 and 2012 Rave Annual Pass good for admission tickets for winner and one guest at any Rave Motion Pictures box office. This prize is valued at approximately $1,000.

When and how will the winner be selected?
The winner will be chosen in a random drawing, which will be conducted on or about June 21, 2011.

How will I know if I've won?
The winners will be notified by email, phone or postal mail following the random drawing. If you'd like to know who won, just mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to be received by July 31, 2011 to: "Mr. Popper's Penguins" Sweepstakes Winner List, PMI Station, PO Box 750, Southbury, CT 06488-0750.

What are my chances of winning?
Your chances of winning a prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

By entering the sweepstakes will I automatically win something?
No, when you enter, you are entering for a chance to win a prize.

I have a friend who wants to enter. Can he or she still participate even though the sweepstakes has already started?
If your friend is eligible, he/she may enter as described above.

How many people can enter the sweepstakes?
The sweepstakes has an ongoing registration so it is difficult to say, but there is no maximum number.

Why is the sweepstakes available only to U.S. residents?
Different rules and regulations associated with games of chance in other countries make it difficult to administer sweepstakes and games outside the United States.

What should I do if I can't reach the sweepstakes web pages when I try to visit?
Come back and try again another time! Many Internet sites experience "traffic jams" from time to time. Refreshing the page may help. However, if you have problems connecting to all web sites, contact your system administrator; you may have a problem at your end.

I'm having trouble entering the sweepstakes. My computer seems to be too slow or times out repeatedly. What should I do?
From time to time, the Internet experiences heavy periods of traffic. The slowdown in the registration process is often caused by a large number of consumers trying to register for the sweepstakes at the same time. If you are experiencing "time-outs" while trying to register, we suggest that you wait a few minutes or try again at a later time.

I'm a Macintosh user. Will I have trouble entering the sweepstakes?
No, the sweepstakes is equally accessible through Macs and PCs.

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

OFFERED ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA ("U.S."), AGED 18 YEARS OR OLDER.

1. ELIGIBILITY: "Mr. Popper's Penguins" Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers and directors of Discovery Communications, Inc. ("Sponsor"), its promotional partners Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and Rave Motion Pictures, Promotion Mechanics, Inc. ("Promotion Administrator"), their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, TV production partners, advertising agencies, promotional suppliers (collectively, "Sweepstakes Entities") and the immediate family members (spouses and parents, children and siblings and their spouses, regardless of where they live) or members of the same households (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible. All applicable federal, state, and local rules apply. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law.

2. TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on May 20, 2011 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on June 17, 2011. To enter, visit http://animal.discovery.com/sweepstakes/popperspenguins and access the sweepstakes entry page. Complete the online entry form and submit so that it is received by Sponsor's server by 11:59 PM ET on June 17, 2011. Limit one entry per person per day. By entering, participants warrant and represent that they agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the final decision of the Sponsor and Promotion Administrator.

3. RANDOM DRAWING – PRIZES – ODDS OF WINNING: On or about June 21, 2011, the Promotion Administrator, an independent judging organization, will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received to award the following prizes:

One (1) Grand Prize: a trip for four to the New England Aquarium in Boston, MA. The prize trip consists of round trip coach air travel for four people from a major commercial airport near winner's residence (as determined by Sponsor); two standard double-occupancy hotel rooms for three days/two nights, a unique designed day at the Aquarium and a total per diem of Four Hundred United States Dollars ($400 USD). All other expenses not specified herein are the winner's sole responsibility. Total approximate retail value ("ARV") of Grand Prize is Six Thousand United States Dollars ($6000 USD). Actual value will be determined by winner's residence and seasonal rates. Travel, accommodations and activities are subject to availability and certain restrictions. Air carriers, hotels and other transportation will be selected by Sponsor. Winner and guests must travel on the same itinerary and will be responsible for all necessary travel authorizations and for any travel insurance. Winner must take trip at time to be determined by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Winner's guests must each be 18 years of age or older, unless the winner or at least one of the three (3) guests of winner is the parent/legal guardian of the guest(s) that is/are under 18. Guests of winner, or a parent/legal guardian if guest is under the age of 18, must complete and return a notarized liability/publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents. By accepting the Grand Prize, the winner and his/her guests represent that they understand that travel, whether by plane, automobile, or other conveyance, or by foot, and in the air, contains some inherent element of risk of accident, illness, injury, loss or death, which may be caused by negligence, forces of nature, or other agencies, known or unknown. Grand Prize winner and his/her guests represent that they recognize that such risks may be present at any time before, during and after the trip. In order to be considered the Grand Prize winner and partake of the enjoyment of this trip, Grand Prize winner and his/her guests must be willing to accept the risk, and to confirm their acceptance to such risk in writing at Sponsor's request.

One (1) Second Prize: 2011 and 2012 Rave Annual Pass good for admission tickets for winner and one guest at any Rave Motion Pictures box office, subject to availability, restrictions printed on pass and additional Film Company restrictions. 2011 pass will be valid from date of issue through December 31, 2011. 2012 pass will be valid from January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012. ARV of Second Prize is One Thousand United States Dollars ($1,000). 2011 Rave Annual Pass will be delivered approximately six (6) to eight (8) weeks after date of the Drawing. 2012 Annual pass will be delivered in January 2012.

Potential winners will be notified by email, phone, postal mail and/or express mail at Sponsor's sole discretion. Inability to contact a potential winner or the return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in the prize being forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries. Potential winners will be required to complete, sign, have notarized and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and (where legal) a publicity release, which must be returned within time period specified in notification letter or an alternate winner may be selected. If a winner is 18 or older, as is required for entry, but not of the age of majority in state of residence, prize will either be awarded in the name of parent or legal guardian, or parent or legal guardian must ratify and sign any and all documents required of winner.

Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. No prize transfer or cash redemption. No prize substitution, in whole or in part, except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability or any other reason as solely determined by Sponsor, in which case a prize of comparable or greater value will be awarded.

4. GENERAL: Expenses not specified and any and all tax liability, whether local, state or federal, are winner's responsibility. By participating, entrants agree [a] to these rules and decisions of Sponsor and Promotion Administrator, which shall be final in all respects relating to this sweepstakes; [b] to release, discharge and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from their participation in the sweepstakes or their acceptance, use or misuse of prize including, without limitation, personal injury, death and property damage; and if a winner, [c] to permit Sweepstakes Entities to use his or her name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, voice likeness and city and state address for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in all media, including but not limited to on air and within www.discovery.com, in perpetuity, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) and agree to execute specific consent to such use upon request. Sponsor, its promotional partner, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, agents and representatives, Promotion Administrator, and the officers, directors and employees of each are not responsible for and shall not be liable for [a] any telecast, cable or telephone malfunctions, human error, satellite transmission failures, or delayed telecasts or preemption of or the failure of a cable affiliate to televise Animal Planet® or any affiliated Sponsor network in all or any parts of the United States; [b] electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind, including without limitation, server malfunction or by any human error which may occur in the processing of entries; [c] failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions; [d] late, lost, misdirected or incomplete entries or postage-due mail; or [e] any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor that may cause the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend the sweepstakes or any portion thereof should virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the promotion, in which case prizes will be awarded via a random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation. Internet entry must be made by the entrant only at the authorized web site address of http://animal.discovery.com/sweepstakes/popperspenguins. Entries may not be made by any other individual or any entity, and/or originating at any other Internet website or e-mail address, including but not limited to commercial sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering service sites. Any winner who enters by any of the methods described above will be disqualified and an alternate winner selected. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entry at any time in the event it is determined that the entrant has not complied with these Official Rules. This sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, with jurisdiction and venue in Montgomery County, Maryland, and all claims must be resolved in the courts of Montgomery County, Maryland.

5. ENTRY INFORMATION: Please note that by entering this sweepstakes and by checking the "opt-in" boxes on the entry form for this promotion, you are [a] agreeing that the Sponsor may share your entry information (including your name, address, email address, etc.) with our promotional partners and other parties; and [b] granting us, our promotional partners and other third parties with which we choose to share your information, permission to contact you about our upcoming shows, promotions or for other reasons. You may enter this sweepstakes but keep your entry information private by not checking the "opt-in" boxes on the entry form.
