Do you know an unsung hero who helps animals? Nominate someone you know for the Animal Planet 2009 Hero of the Year today! Plus, you have a chance to win great prizes too!

GRAND PRIZE: One Grand Prize winner, chosen by our judging panel and people's choice voting, will be named Animal Planet 2009 Hero of the Year and awarded:
- $10,000 donation made to the winner's favorite animal welfare organization.
- Trip for two (2) to a destination of the winner's choice, related to their animal welfare passion.
- :30 second Public Service Announcement to help their cause.

Hero of the Year Nominator Prize: The entrant who nominated the winning Hero of the Year will receive a $1,000 cash prize.

DAILY PRIZES: Each day one randomly selected nominator will receive a $50 PetSmart Gift Card.
