ROAR for Earth Day!

Learn about Party for the Planet and National Wildlife Week and other partner programs this April.

This month, celebrate the earth as a home for animals while lending a helping hand, whether it’s nationally, locally or in your own backyard. With Earth Day approaching on April 22, now is the perfect time to learn more about local conservation – and we’re ROAR-ing with ideas! From the World Wildlife Fund's Time for Change program, to AZA's Party for the Planet event, to the NWF's National Wildlife Week, we’re working closely with our ROAR partners to point you in the right direction. Also, don't forget to make your ROAR Promise – tell us who you are what you plan to do to help animals. You can also plot out your efforts on our Google Map! Be a voice for animals – and an inspiration to others.

Why Habitat Matters
  Why Habitat Matters

Wildlife species and the natural areas they need to survive are important and should be protected and restored. Imagine life without the song of birds and the chirping of crickets, the beauty of a windswept prairie, or the cool serenity of a green woodland. Without wild areas, humanity, as well as wildlife, suffers. Read about it now!
