Majungatholus atopus
The fossilized remains of the neotheropod Majungatholus atopus, found in Madagascar, point to cervical and abdominal air-sac systems similar to those found in modern birds, according to a new study. Majungatholus atopus, a carnivore, lived 67 million years ago.
