Victim of Pollution?
An environment supervision department worker holds a fish caught in the Songhua River in northeast China's Heilongjiang province on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005. The fish was to be tested to check for pollutants following a massive benzine spill earlier that month. With environmental disasters on the rise in China, the government has repeatedly vowed to put an end to the environmental degradation that has come with 25 years of unbridled economic growth.
