Molly
After Molly, a one-year-old Lab, was hit by a car, her owners left her in their backyard for months with a dislocated hip. A Good Samaritan noticed Molly's pain and she was saved by a local Lab rescue. Although Molly's road to recovery has been a difficult one, she needed a femoral head ostectomy (FHO) to alleviate her pain and restore mobility, she is currently in a foster home and doing much better.

Goliath and Sassy
Goliath and Sassy are two of 31 neglected horses rescued from a farm in Oregon. Goliath was found with an abscess on his left front hoof, forcing him to survive on three legs and causing damage to his right hind hip. Sassy was found with a pot belly full of parasites. Both Goliath and Sassy are recovering from their infections. Both are doing well and are very happy.

George
George lived in very inhumane conditions while in a previous "rescue." George had severe mange leaving him with no hair on his body and blisters on the bottom of his feet. George was rescued again by Michelle and her husband, who decided to forego a mini vacation and took care of more than 200 dogs. After George's recovery, Michelle and her husband became George's foster family. Both dog and owner are very happy.

Dude
Dude, a 17-year-old Paint stallion, was rescued from an animal hoarder. He was found unable to stand and very dehydrated. Three months after his rescue, his lower jaw developed huge abscesses. It was also discovered that his lower jaw was fractured in several places. The injury was consistent with the type of trauma caused by a baseball bat. His jaw had to be completely rebuilt. Today, Dude is completely healed and waiting to be adopted!

Tex
Earlier this year, 141 animals kept in cruel conditions were rescued from a hoarding situation in Texas, and among them was Tex, a miniature horse. Tex was found not only sick, underweight and neglected, but with a broken back and a large cut on his side. He received all the care he needed from the veterinarian and the farrier, and just like his rescued companions, Tex is a happy little horse who loves every minute of his new life.
