The Javanese Damselfish feeds on a variety of meaty items, herbivore preparations, and flaked foods.
Like other damselfish, they are generally compatible with: Dwarf Angelfish, Large Angelfish, Anthias, Basslets, Blennies, Boxfish, Clownfish, Goatfish, Gobies, Hawkfish, Hogfish, Parrotfish, Pseudochromis, Puffers, Tangs & Surgeons and Wrasse.
