The Indian Triggerfish, also known as the Hawaiian Black Triggerfish, or Black-Finned Triggerfish, has a brown body and black fins with white lines at the base of the dorsal and anal fins.
A 90 gallon or larger aquarium with rocks and caves provides a good habitat for the Indian Triggerfish, however, it will tend to rearrange the landscaping and rocks.
It's diet should include meaty foods such as whole shrimp, krill, squid, clams, and small fish.
As with other triggerfish, caution is required with: Dwarf Angelfish, Large Angelfish, Anthias, Blennies, Boxfish, Butterflyfish, Clownfish, Damselfish, Eels, Goatfish, Gobies, Groupers, Grunts & Sweetlips, Hawkfish, Hogfish, Lionfish & Scorpionfish, Parrotfish, Puffers, Squirrelfish, Tangs & Surgeons, Triggerfish and Wrasse.
They are not compatible with: Anglers & Frogfish, Basslets, Batfish, Cardinalfish, Filefish, Pseudochromis, Seahorses & Pipefish and Sharks & Rays.
