Hawaiian Cleaner Wrasse
Veterinary & Aquatic Services Department, Drs. Foster & Smith, Inc.

The Hawaiian Cleaner Wrasse, also known as the Cleaner Royal Wrasse, is noticeably yellow on the front half and half blue on the posterior half. There is a dark horizontal stripe extending the length of the fish, with purple trimming the tail.

A 30 gallon or larger community aquarium, with live rock for shelter, is recommended. It will eat parasites from tank mates. It is a very fragile Cleaner Wrasse and should only be cared for by a very experienced aquarist.

The diet should consist of live brine shrimp or black worms. It will also eat meaty preparations.

Like other wrasse, they are generally compatible with: Large Angelfish, Boxfish, Damselfish and Tangs & Surgeons.
