The Diadem Pseudochromis, also known as Diadem Dottyback or Purple Stripe Pseudochromis, is primarily yellow with a purple stripe running the length of the body along the dorsal fin.
An 70 gallon or larger aquarium with numerous hiding places provides a good environment. It should be housed with moderately aggressive fish that are larger than itself. It will eat ornamental shrimp.
The diet consists of meaty foods including brine shrimp and prepared frozen foods.
Like other pseudochromis, they are generally compatible with: Dwarf Angelfish, Anthias, Boxfish, Butterflyfish, Clownfish, Damselfish, Goatfish, Gobies, Grunts & Sweetlips, Hawkfish, Squirrelfish and Tangs & Surgeons.
