The Boenacki Grouper, also known as the Blue Line Grouper or Blue-lined Hind, is light red with multiple, vertical blue lines. The fins are highlighted with dark blue.
A 100 gallon or larger aquarium is required due to its size and feeding habits. It is an extremely aggressive fish and may eat its tank mates as well as crustaceans.
The Boenacki Grouper prefers a diet of meaty foods such as krill, shrimp, and other small fish.
Like other goupers, they are generally compatible with: Large Angelfish, Eels, Lionfish & Scorpionfish and Tangs & Surgeons.
They are not compatible with: Anthias, Basslets, Batfish, Blennies, Butterflyfish, Cardinalfish, Clownfish, Damselfish, Filefish, Gobies, Groupers, Grunts & Sweetlips, Hawkfish, Pseudochromis, Puffers, Seahorses & Pipefish and Squirrelfish.
