The Blue Reef Chromis is a very peaceful Damselfish. It rarely survives alone, so a minimum of three fish should be kept. They should have a 30-gallon aquarium or larger.
The Blue Reef Chromis feeds on a variety of meaty items, herbivore preparations, and flaked food.
Like other damselfish, they are generally compatible with: Dwarf Angelfish, Large Angelfish, Anthias, Basslets, Blennies, Boxfish, Clownfish, Goatfish, Gobies, Hawkfish, Hogfish, Parrotfish, Pseudochromis, Puffers, Tangs & Surgeons and Wrasse.
Caution is required with: Anglers & Frogfish, Batfish, Butterflyfish, Cardinalfish, Damselfish, Filefish, Grunts & Sweetlips, Squirrelfish and Triggerfish.
They are not compatible with: Eels, Groupers, Lionfish & Scorpionfish, Seahorses & Pipefish and Sharks & Rays.
