The Australian Pseudochromis is also known as the Australian Dottyback, New Holland Multicolored Dottyback, Australian Multicolor Pseudochromis, and the Red and Green Dottyback. It is red with green markings on the body, and blue lining the tops of the fins.
A 50 gallon or larger aquarium with many hiding places provides a good environment. This Pseudochromis should be housed with moderately aggressive fish larger than itself. It will eat ornamental shrimp.
The diet consists of meaty foods including brine shrimp and prepared frozen foods.
Like other pseudochromis, they are generally compatible with: Dwarf Angelfish, Anthias, Boxfish, Butterflyfish, Clownfish, Damselfish, Goatfish, Gobies, Grunts & Sweetlips, Hawkfish, Squirrelfish and Tangs & Surgeons.
