Description: White-eyes are usually found on forest edges and canopies at high elevations. They have slightly downturning pointed bills and a brush-tipped tongue for feeding on nectar. The Rota bridled white-eye is a tiny bird with green-yellow plumage, yellow-orange feet and a distinctive white ring around the eye. It is only found on the island of Rota in the Mariana Archipelago, where populations are in rapid decline due to habitat loss and degradation.
