LEAST BELL'S VIREO (Vireo bellii pusillus)

Description: The least Bell's vireo is a small insectivorous songbird found in the scrubland of the Midwestern and southwestern United States and Northern Mexico. It has rounded wings, a short straight bill and a white ring around the eyes. It has a grayish back and light underbelly, which makes it blend in with the sky from below and the ground from above. Least Bell's vireo is threatened by loss of habitat.
