Description: As its name suggests, the Cape Verde warbler lives in the West African nation of Cape Verde. It is a medium-sized songbird known for its loud and whistling song. It has a brown back and head with a creamy underbelly and a long, pointed bill. Its range was once more extensive, but is now restricted to two islands where its numbers are in decline due to drought and habitat loss.
