GREEN IGUANA

Green iguanas lay their eggs in underground chambers. Like most reptiles, baby green iguanas hatch as miniature versions of their parents, with green scales, a long tail and a crest of fringed scales down its back. They grow to an average of 11 pounds, making them one of the largest lizards in South America.
