Western Gorilla

WESTERN GORILLA

The Western gorilla is the largest of all primates. Females usually have just one baby and spend about three years nursing and caring for it. At first, it clings to her belly fur. After about six months, the baby gorilla rides piggy-back. Only about one third of gorilla babies survive.
