PLATYPUS

The platypus is a freshwater egg-laying mammal with a beak-shaped mouth. Platypus females lay one, two or three eggs at a time, which they nurse for three to four months after hatching. When she goes on foraging trips, she leaves the baby platypuses walled into the burrow.
