NORTHERN RACCOON

Northern raccoons are familiar animals throughout the United States. Females build their nests in tree hollows, sheds or under rocks. She gives birth to an average of four young, which are born blind and helpless. They are able to leave the nest after about two months and are independent after seven to nine months.
