BLACK BEAR

Baby black bears, called cubs, are born in dens during winter dormancy and emerge with their mothers in spring. Black bear cubs love to run, play, and wrestle with each other. But playing is not only for fun. It is an important way to learn the hunting and social skills they will need later in life.
