Rhino Range:
The Javan rhino is known to reside in only two Southeast Asian national parks, one in Indonesia and the other in Vietnam. The total Javan rhino population is less than 100.

They can grow slightly larger than the Sumatran species – up to 5 and a half feet tall &151 and can weigh up to 3,000 pounds.

They are gray and share the armored-plate look of the greater one-horned rhino, which is also known as the Indian rhino. Socially, they are solitary except when mating. Females mature sexually around 3 years of age and males at the age of 6. They reproduce less frequently than other rhinos, giving birth every four years, and live to be about 40 years of age.
