Chicken Victims
A young broiler lays dying as others search for food on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005, at a poultry farm near Raleigh, Miss. Hurricane Katrina's winds destroyed or damaged many of the chicken "houses" in rural Smith County, leaving the birds without food or water and little shelter. These birds will be humanely destroyed.
