Most likely, your four-legged friends will bring their owners to the party. There are tons of fun games for people to play at a pet costume party while the hounds are having fun. Here are just a few:

Scavenger Hunt: Hide candy around the house or yard before your guests arrive and then allow them a certain amount of time to scavenge for it. Give a special prize to the person who finds the most.

Monster Tag: This is just like regular tag but with a spooky Halloween twist. Flip a coin to determine who will be the first monster. Then give that person a monster mask to wear and let the tagging begin!

Animal Charades: One person pretends to be an animal and everyone else tries to guess what animal he or she is.

Prizes for Best Costumes
Your guests have put a lot of time and effort into their pet's costumes. Reward them by giving away prizes for the best and most original costumes. You might also give a prize for the best pet/person costume combination, weirdest costume idea or best behaved animal. Rate Pet Costumes here.

Doggie Bags
Take-home goody bags are a fun way to thank your guests for coming to your party. Your "doggie bags" may include smiley-face treats, yummy chewing bones or a special Halloween toy. Put goodies in jack-o-lantern jugs or paper bags decorated with witches and bats for the Halloween touch.

Having a pet Halloween party is a great way to get to know other dogs and dog owners in your community. It can also be loads of fun. Just remember to bring a camera and take plenty of pictures. This will be a night to remember!
