Fort Woof Dog Park - Ft. Worth
This is a great park for dogs and people. It offers about 5 acres of fenced area for your dogs to play in, with separate areas for small (under 40 lbs.) and large dogs. Small dogs can play in the big dog area but big dogs can't play in the small area. There is a double-gate entrance to ensure the dogs don't get out.

Millie Bush Dog Park - Houston
This park, located in George Bush Park, is open from 7 a.m. to dusk. It has 15 acres, totally fenced with 6-ft.-high black vinyl coated chain link fence, with double gated entrance gates; a decomposed granite walk path with benches along the way; drinking fountains for both humans and dogs; two swimming ponds in the large area built specially for the dogs, with gently sloped banks and even some graduating steps into the pond so that dogs that are not so bold about lanching off the banks can gently walk into the pond; doggie showers so you can rinse fido off before he heads home in your car you might want to bring your own towels to have waiting in your car to help dry your dog off.); a separately fenced area (approximatley 1&1/2 acres) for little dogs 20 lbs. and under, with their own little pond and doggie shower; complimentary pick up "poop bags"; benches and picnic tables are now being added to the Bark Park area (outside of the fenced area); scattered trees through out the park (the county added over 40 trees to the already existing ones); a bulletin board for mounting county approved dog related items; and a parking lot.

Pearsall Dog Park - San Antonio
This 1.5-acre park is located at 4700 Old Pearsall Road and is open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Non-aggressive dogs are allowed off-leash and ID tags are required. Features include a permanent agility course, human and doggie water fountains, mutt mitt stations throughout the park, double safety gates, colorful fire hydrants, a paved walking trail, picnic benches, plentiful shade, safety fencing and restroom facilities for humans.

This park is open from 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. It is named in honor of Officer lucy, Bellaire's K-9 detective who passed away from natural causes.
