The inspiration for Animal Planet's Dog Days reality comedy series, Madison Square Park Dog Run is home to some very posh pooches. It's a social event cum singles scene cum Dog Park, and locals love it — by day or night! Washington Square Park Dog Run
Dog-loving locals of Manhattan will tell you that those in the dog park "know" visit Washington Square Park for a healthy dose of Big Apple antics and high-class canines. At this fashionable dog run, style is everything — it's no surprise to find Fido donning a Burberry raincoat, or Fifi wearing a Swarovski crystal collar.

Good Dog Park - Liverpool
This park is open from dawn to dusk and is located on Rt 370 just north of the Village of Liverpool. There is a separate dog park for dogs under 25 lbs. Both areas are fenced in, have several ramps, tunnels, etc. for doggie fun. Both have doggie drinking fountains also.

Christopher Morley Park Dog Run - Roslyn
This park is located one block off Long Island Exp. Exit 36 N and is open from 8 a.m. to dusk. It is fenced in and has good ground cover, benches, a great group of regulars and car ports for shade. Bring your own water.

Cedar Creek Town Park - Seaford
This park is open from 9 a.m. to dusk and has a huge fenced-in area for dogs off leash. It is maintained by Cedar Creek Dog Run Association members. Use at your own risk and bring water. It is for Nassau County residents only and dogs must be licensed and have up to date innoculations.

Ithaca Dog Park - Ithaca
This park, located in Treman State Park, is open during daylight hours and has a large and scenic area widely used by offleash dog walkers.
