Zorilla

Hurried shuffling in the dust flushes a lizard from the bushes. It darts between tiny shrubs and twigs, racing steps ahead of a long, striped creature. The pursuing zorilla, matching the reptile's every move, follows it down an aardvark hole. A cloud of earth rises like chimney smoke, and in moments the zorilla is out again, chewing hastily. Wasting no time, it resumes the hunt, swerving and dashing between the coarse bushes, nose to the ground and bushy tail in the air. It veers abruptly after a spider, which scurries down a narrow burrow. With its long claws, the zorilla digs feverishly after the prize, alternately sinking its nose into the ground until it comes up munching. Once again, it's off, racing furiously after its next meal.
