Christiaan Winterbach attaches a GPS collar to an unconscious lion. The team is currently testing two GPS collars with a satellite link. If successful, this will allow them to access location data on the Internet. "Initial results look promising," said Christiaan. "These collars may solve our problems to collect movement data of the lions when we cannot follow them by vehicle through the water."
