Tiger Ambush Techniques
The tiger primarily hunts at night. It uses the dark and dense cover to conceal itself, stalking its prey until it is close enough to take it by surprise. The tiger rushes its prey, using its powerful body to knock its meal off balance and then bite it fatally on the back of the neck or throat. Tigers mostly eat deer and sometimes livestock, when available. They have also been known to eat rhinoceroses and elephants.
