Treacherous Beauty
Filming in one of the hottest places on earth presented its own challenges according to Houdret: "Coping with the heat was one thing. The temperatures were extraordinary reaching 47 degrees centigrade (116 degrees Fahrenheit) during the day. So we found ourselves getting up very early to get shots, as with most of these natural history shoots. We had to get in synch with the elephants."
