Sloth Bear, Great White Shark and Giant Pacific Octopus

type size: [A] [A] [A]

Sri Lanka's Yala National Park is home to the largest concentration of leopards on earth. But camera operator Gordon Buchanan isn't worried about leopards; he's got his hands full when a sloth bear tries to get inside his camouflaged tent.

Then, a massive great white shark becomes entangled in steel cables and underwater camera operator Ron Taylor tries to save her life. To do so, he must leave the safety of the filming cage and become a target for other feeding sharks.

Finally, the coastal waters of British Columbia contain the largest species of octopus in the world: the giant Pacific octopus. Underwater filmmaker Danny Mauro is filming at 80 feet below the surface when a huge female — with 2,000 large sucker discs — attaches herself to his dive buddy.
