The Animal in You

	Pinpoint Your Animal Personality You've likely never been mistaken for an animal, but — hate to break it to you — you certainly do act like one. Next time you're at the zoo, on a hike or otherwise around animals, look closely and you'll start seeing a little bit of yourself in their behavior. But how do you know which animal is really you? Native Americans found that certain human personalities were reflected strongly in animal behavior. So they developed a belief system where one's personality linked them to a specific animal in nature. For Native Americans, discovering the animal within often involved vision quests, four-day fasts and similar rites of passage. But we know you're busy, so we'll cut right to the chase. Simply choose the statement that best describes your personality to reveal your inner animal. (Note: the following associations are largely based on Native American beliefs.) You work well with others and have an incredible amount of patience. You are strength personified and you don't mind throwing your weight around. You're always on the go. Nothing seems to ever slow you down. You're gentle, caring and kind. Most people feel at peace in your presence. You are tremendously joyful. It seems every moment of your life is filled with happiness. You are, above all else, loyal. Everyone knows they can count on you. You tend to scrutinize everything. Nothing can get past you. You are exceptionally headstrong. You've never given up on anything. You are constantly revamping your style, your surroundings and even yourself. You're a person of action.
