The Animal in You

Horse
Like you, the horse is built to move. Its hooves are designed to withstand fatigue, as fresh blood is pumped into the fleshy inner hoof with every stride. Its muscular hind legs propel the horse strongly forward. Springy tendons in its legs act like pogo sticks, storing energy between strides. Its front legs help balance and stabilize the body, and also act like a catapult with the shoulder to throw the leg forward. The horse can go all day long — and so can you!
