EPISODE 2 — THE CAMEL'S HUMP (EXTREMES)

In this episode of Corwin's Quest, Jeff explores how animals have evolved to cope with less-than-ideal living conditions. His main quest is to survive a trek across Australia's Simpson Desert with the most belligerent animal on the planet, the dromedary camel. Jeff's traveling companion may be built for extreme conditions, but our intrepid host is in desperate need of a watering hole. Will he find one in time?

Along the way, Jeff encounters some other creatures who call the desert their home. He gets too close for comfort with a dangerous inland taipan, meets a nob-tailed gecko and shares some precious water with a thorny devil.

But that's not all. In a series of side quests, Jeff finds life in a giant clump of dirt, brings a frozen wood frog "back from the dead," marvels at mudskippers and flies south with a flock of barnacle geese.
