Corwin's Quest
Episode Guide

EPISODE #1 — THE ALLIGATOR'S BELLOW (SOUND)

In this episode of Corwin's Quest, Jeff explores how animals use sound to communicate with one another and survive in the wild. His main quest is to experience an alligator's bellow, which means getting into the water with one when it's at its most aggressive. Join Jeff as he travels by helicopter and airboat across the vast expanse of the Florida Everglades in search of giant, bellowing gators. It won't be easy; in fact, it will be downright dangerous.

Along the way, Jeff tackles a young gator, explores an island teeming with waterbirds — including cattle egrets, tricolored herons and great egrets — and chases after glowing gator eyes at night.

But that's not all. In a series of side quests, Jeff discovers how a rattlesnake uses sound to catch its meals, how vervet monkeys use sound to warn one another of danger and how Mexican free-tailed bats use sound to navigate.
