Jeff Corwin joined Animal Planet for a live discussion following the premiere of his new show, Corwin's Quest, on Wednesday, June 15. Here's the full transcript for your reading pleasure. Enjoy!

Animal Planet: He's back. Jeff Corwin returns with a new series, "Corwin's Quest," and to answer your burning animal questions. We know you've been waiting. Go ahead. Ask your favorite wildlife expert everything you always wanted to know.

Jeff Corwin: I'm so excited to launch this new series. We've been in production for 14 months, and I hope everyone watching it is as challenged and enjoying it as much as I am producing it. It's one of those personal things where I'm so afraid I'm looking at it through a blind jaded eye — that I'm seeing it through my experience — that it's one of the best TV animal nature things that I've ever done.

Zoologist 08: When you where a child, did you ever have some exotic pets? I have a Madagascar roach and an African spider.
Jeff Corwin: When I grew up, I was very active in wildlife rehabilitation. Basically, I lived a pretty charmed life for an animal lover. I was always surrounded by animals around the age of six. But I do love animals and I love being around them.
