Born and raised in the small farming community of Lonoke, Ark., Dr. Blair Willman has fond childhood memories of rescuing stray animals at her father's farm. Helping these animals sparked a strong desire to become a veterinarian. To fulfill her goal, Blair studied biology at Southern Methodist University and attended Louisiana State University, where she graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine.
Blair spent time honing her skills in Arkansas at Grand Prairie Veterinary Services and at the Shackleford Road Veterinary Clinic. Among her many tasks, she prepared patients for and assisted with surgery, cared for hospitalized and boarded animals, and performed dental cleanings.
Dr. Willman has an intense passion for veterinary medicine that spans from general practice to preventive medicine to helping animals in shelters. In her free time, Blair enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as biking, camping and hiking with her dog, Sunny. She also loves just relaxing at home with her cats, Bobby and Boots.
