Dr. Erik Anderson, a New Hampshire native, received his veterinary degree from the University of Tennessee. He attended Delaware Valley College for his undergraduate studies and graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in animal science.
Erik worked and studied at a number of institutions to help him reach his goal of becoming a veterinarian, including: the Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, where he had a medicine and surgery externship; Merrimack Veterinary Hospital, where he served as a vet tech assistant; and MIT in Boston, where he was awarded a summer fellowship in the division of comparative medicine.
Dr. Anderson's professional interests include anesthesiology, oncology, radiology and internal medicine, which will be his focus at Alameda East. In his spare time, Erik enjoys camping, fly-fishing, and mountain biking, and spending time with his wife, Leigh, and their 4-year old pug, Finnigan.
