A NEW ZOO
Kelsey returns to her old job at Australia Zoo only to find that the small zoo she left has now exploded into a major zoological facility. This episode highlights the expansion plans and frustrations of running such a huge establishment with over 350 staff.

BRITISH GORILLAS
Steve travels to the UK to learn about the world's most successful gorilla breeding program at Howlett's Wild Animal Park in Kent. Steve falls in love with a gorgeous female gorilla named Emmy and cops a kiss on the lips from a frisky young male. Seven young Howlett's-bred baby gorillas are shipped off to start a new life in the wild of Africa in what is a tearful farewell.

BACKSTAGE BEDLAM
When "Croc Live" went to air during Croc Week 2003, there was a lot more going on behind the scenes than what made it on camera. Problems with animals reacting to the intrusion and rehearsals that sometimes appeared a lot more chaotic than the final broadcast with guests such as Dame Edna and The Wiggles.

SOUTH PACIFIC CROC RESCUE
Australia Zoo's new International Croc Rescue Unit is called on to capture a rogue crocodile in the remote and primitive South Pacific islands of Vanuatu. Steve, Brian and Toby try out a new trapping technique with an ocean-going floating trap and just before success, Toby is struck down with Malaria. When the crocodile is safely captured, Steve is required to do some tricky field surgery on a bullet wound that has shot out the animal's eye. The final release causes heart-stopping action as the crocodile makes a premature dash for freedom.

CELEBRITIES & PRACTICAL JOKES #1
The fun side of Australia Zoo shows some very active and evil minds when Wes cooks up a batch of spring rolls using real WORMS and tricking Jodie and Kelsey into eating them. Wes and Steve can hardly contain their laughter as they mislead a naïve Jai into having outlandish make-up applied before appearing in public and a bogus wealthy Arab Crown Prince tries every trick in the trade to convince Steve, Wes and Terri to part with their camels.

FUTURE FOOTPRINTS
As the Zoo enters its next stage of expansion, Wes, Jodie, Leanne, Kelsey, Amanda and Little Frank visit other major zoos in Australia to learn more about the various kinds of animals that will soon make their homes at Australia Zoo. First-hand encounters with elephants, big cats and some emergency vet work gives the Aussie Zoo team a lot more than they bargained for.

WILD BOYS — WILD CROCS
The Zoo team goes to Croc School and each of the boys has to prove their newly learned skills and catch a wild crocodile in the remote jungle of North Queensland. Under the ever watchful eye of Steve, the boys have some hair-raising moments as they battle some of the biggest reptiles in the wild.

GIRLS CATCH CROCS TOO
Croc School in the wild continues as the girls of Australia Zoo take what they have learned from Steve and tackle the thrashing jaws of the wild crocodiles of the Lakefield National Park on their own. The team assists Park Ranger Dr. Mark Read in attaching radio transmitters to the captured crocs and then release them back into the wild for future research.

MATTERS OF LIFE & DEATH
In the normal day to day life of Australia Zoo most animals live much the same way as they do in the wild, giving birth nearly every other day. From the highly venomous black tiger snake and king browns to the black cockatoos and emus, the thrilling experience of watching these diverse animals deliver and raise their young is almost overshadowed by the drama that ensues when two prized baby Tasmanian devils fall mysteriously ill and one does not recover.

STEVE'S SINGAPORE SAFARI
With the Zoo's master plan dedicated to having gorillas, orangutans and elephants, Steve sets off to London to learn all he can about gorillas. At Port Lympne, he gets to feed chocolate sandwiches to the endangered black rhino and go head to head with tapirs and red pandas. A stopover in Singapore expands Steve's knowledge of elephants and monkeys but the time that he has with the Singapore Zoo's orangutans is very memorable. A highlight of his visit is when Steve gets to swim with and feed the penguins.

DAYS OF DISASTER
Zoos, like all of us, have their bad days and this episode records some of Steve's worst. Like the time when relocated rock wallabies escape from their enclosure and cause Kelsey one of the worst days of her life...or when Charlie gets a splinter from hitting the feed ramp...or when a mystery virus strikes the kangaroo mob...or when the cassowaries fight. Topped off by a fire alarm in the "Taj Mahal."

BABY BOB
After trying for over a year, Terri finally lets out the secret that she is pregnant and Steve tells the world. On Valentines Day, Bindi declares her hidden love for Jai and her own line of clothing, "Bindi Wear," wins first prize in the Australian fashion awards. One of the crocodile staff resigns over an accident with a mower injury to Bowen the crocodile and Jai is promoted to his place. Steve and Terri get their biggest wish and a little boy, Robert Clarence, is born to take on the world and be little brother to Bindi.

ACTION STATIONS
Almost every day at the Zoo there is a major emergency that calls for immediate action. Steve and the team rush to save all sorts of animals in all sorts of predicaments, from a koala stuck in a drain to a sick tiger snake to falcons with damaged wings and to crocodile eggs from feisty mothers. The veterinary surgeons do their tireless job of trying to save all the sick and injured animals that the Zoo team brings to them for assistance.

CROCOSEUM
The Zoo's expansion plans include the building of a huge 6,000-seat stadium to feature all of the daily crocodile feeding demonstrations. Not only is the building of the ambitious structure fraught with problems but also the implementation of Steve's vision of having seven crocodile enclosures connected by an elaborate canal system to the main arena. The trial and error of the rehearsals and mass movement of angry crocodiles causes flared tempers and some close calls.

CELEBRITIES & PRACTICAL JOKES #2
The practical jokes and celebrity visits continue at Australia Zoo for this second Croc Diaries special. This time the sexiest woman in the world visits the Zoo and engages in some funny and embarrassing moments with Steve during a photo session while the Dixie Chicks try their hand at crocodile feeding and some of the world's best surfers get caught by Steve and Brian in a "perceived" very dangerous stunt.

LIVING DANGEROUSLY
This episode centers on the lives and jobs of Steve's key Zoo team. The girls of Australia Zoo, Jodie, Kelsey, Leanne, Tiffany, Amanda, Terri and Bindi, show what women can do in the firing line while Brian, Stuart, Wes, Toby, Little Frank and Little Richard take us behind the scenes of their roles in the team fabric and how they have become "Trainee Croc Hunters."
