Think Before You Squish
If you're an entomologist or just a lover of all creatures great and small, chances are you would never harm even the smallest of
insects. But for those of us who are a bit more squeamish — well, what do you think you would do if you came face to face with
one of these bugs? Think about it. Don't worry, it's a natural reflex to automatically want to step on it, spray it or smush it with a
kleenex, but what you may not know is that all bugs (even the ugly ones) are beneficial in some way. They all have good and
bad qualities — just like you!
So be brave and pick the one bug on this page you would most like to eliminate. We'll then give you some information about that
insect. With a little help, we hope you'll be able to put down the can of pesticide and gently lead these little creatures out the front
door and away from the tread of your tennis shoe.
