Ruud explores Papua, New Guinea in search of giants. Aussie Attackers

Australia is infamous for dangerous sharks, poisonous snakes and an array of biting, stinging creatures. Ruud boldly sets off to find out how Aussie bugs compare on the aggravation scale. The verdict: Some are cute and benign, others could eat you out of house and home, and a notorious number have super-painful stings in their tails.

Housemates From Hell

Ruud visits an American home where uninvited guests sometimes drop in. Life will never be the same again after you come face to face with centipedes, stable flies, cockroaches and a host of other bugs you share your house and garden with. Some just want peace and quiet, but others want a piece of you.

Madagascar: Out of This World

When Madagascar split off from Africa 165 million years ago it became a floating Noah's ark. Ruud hops aboard nature's own time machine and explores a world of weird giants, nightmarish spiders, ghostly bug predators, living fossils, and newly discovered Dracula Ants that drink the blood of their own offspring.

Desert Survivors

Ruud travels to Namibia, Africa to experience just how bugs cope in some of the toughest conditions on earth. This is a quest to find the ultimate desert survivor, and Ruud finds that survival in the Namib Desert, the hottest desert on the planet, is a true feat when there is nowhere to hide from the blistering heat. He scales dunes and trudges through an endless arid landscape to discover beetles that do handstands to harness the moisture from fog and bugs that swim beneath the sand to escape the sun.
