Episode: Ladybugs and Painted Lady Butterflies

Purpose: To build a safe haven for growing caterpillars.

Materials: A variety of ceramic tiles, tile adhesive, towel or old pillow case, hammer, water dish.

Instructions:

1) Place a variety of tiles under an old towel or in a pillow case.

2) Using a hammer, break up the tiles.

3) Next, spread a layer of tile adhesive in the water dish, making sure to cover the bottom and inside of the dish.

4) Simply place the broken tile pieces into the adhesive.

5) Let the adhesive set for several hours before filling with water.
